Procurement Secretary / Office Assistant Summary:

Our Davenport, NY facility is hiring for a Procurement Secretary / Office Assistant. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Procurement Secretary / Office Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones
  • Writing checks to loggers
  • Maintaining log sale information
  • Data entry
  • Providing clerical support
  • Any other tasks the manager may assign

Procurement Secretary / Office Assistant Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Computer skills in Quickbooks & Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Must be a self starter, who works well independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
